FWOG Jumps While Solana Memecoins Fall
Solana’s native token and other Solana memecoins collectively lost over $250 million of their market value on September 24, 2026. In contrast, FWOG rose by over 22% during the same period.
The difference in price action between FWOG and the rest of the memecoin market further illustrates the level of interest traders have in the solana memecoin market.
FWOG Currently Trading At
FWOG’s price was last seen at around $0.00685. The token’s market capitalization is around $6.7 million. The memecoin has experienced above average trading volume, with $2.2 million worth transacted over the past 24 hours. The fully circulating 975.6 million token supply has not been affected by a recent unlock.
Considering FWOG’s small market capitalization and above average daily volume, price movements can be large and rapid when buying or selling pressure changes.
Numerous larger solana memecoins such as PENGU, BONK, WIF, PEPE, FLOKI, DOGE and SHIB also declined in value on September 22, 2026. The recent improvement in the price of meme coins had benefitted solana memecoins, but that trend has since reversed.
PEPE rose by 30%, and Floki rose by 10% over the course of a day, during the recent Bitcoin-fueled rally.
During the correction in the Bitcoin price, PEPE and similar memecoins also saw a drop in their prices. An exception to this trend was FWOG. FWOG’s price increase shows that not all Solana-based memecoins have suffered a price crash and may indicate a possible recovery for other Solana-based memecoins.
Solana’s native token, SOL, has also performed differently to other memecoins. SOL recently reached a price of $110, a price not seen since before the crash in November 2022.
It is important to remember that all assets tied to the performance of a blockchain can act differently.
Data from 2026 showed memecoins made up 20-30% of the DEX trading volume on the Solana blockchain, as opposed to 60% at the beginning of the year. This showed that memecoins were a less-traded asset class than before.
FOG was listed by Kraken along with SPX and GOAT in December 2024. At the time, FOG was traded as FLOG. At the time of writing, FOG is trading at $0.00685, a 99% decrease from its all-time high of $0.75.
FOG is still a fairly new token, having been listed just 3 years ago. It is still traded on centralized exchanges. At the time of writing, there are 71,000 separate wallets holding FOG.
FOG is still being promoted on several social media platforms, with several merchandise and NFT giveaways.
Liquidity is quickly cycleable in memecoin markets, as shown by FWOG’s price rise.
The small market cap of around $6.7 million causes large price movement with small trading volume.
As of right now, the resistance level at $0.0060 has held true and FWOG is currently in a sideways trend. Should volume increase and push the price above this level, it indicates there is large buying pressure. If the price declines and large selling pressure comes from the memecoins of Solana, it indicates this was a temporary rise due to a liquidity squeeze.
Because of the recent decline of the overall memecoin market, the 22% increase of FWOG is being watched. If there is increased buying pressure and volume, traders may expect an increase in price in the short term.
