Crypto Market Today January 6: BTC Approaches $100k, SPX and FIL Gain 12%

The bullish momentum of the crypto market is on fire. After a bearish trend that lasted for two weeks, Bitcoin has surpassed $99,000 and it is now aiming at $100,000. SPX6900 (SPX) and Filecoin (FIL) lead with 12% price rally.

Most altcoins are also in the green signifying an optimistic market direction. In addition, global crypto market cap has grown by 1% to reach $3.49

Trillion while trading volume slightly retreated by 2% to settle at $83 billion. The Fear and Greed Index indicates that sentiment moved from fear with a mark of 60 towards greed.

Recently, the crypto market has been making progress with Bitcoin (BTC) almost reaching close to $100K. Within the last 24hours, major altcoins such as Ethereum (ETH), XRP and Solana (SOL) all gained 1%.

In addition, Marathon Digital Holdings (MARA), a Bitcoin miner lent out 16% of its reserves, reflecting an increasing interest in BTC lending. This change shows that the cryptocurrency industry is gaining momentum and becoming more confident.

SOL traded at $216 today after adding one percent to its value. Its lowest point was observed during last night when it hit two hundred eleven dollars only while maximum reached two hundred eighteen bucks later on today morning following an overnight rally against Bitcoin (BTC).

Also, Movement (MOVE), Injective (INJ), and Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET) had risen by between 8-10% in the last day. FET token could reach three dollars today as per current cryptocurrency maths.

HYPE price was dropped by 3% over the past 24hrs trading at $24.81. The lowest and highest prices within the last 24 hours were $24.06 and $25.63 respectively. The market capitalization is at $8,269,000,000 with a volume of trade of about ninety million dollars.

In addition to that, BONK, WIF and BEAM also suffered losses by 3% to around 4% within twenty four hours ago.

Crypto market today however reflects mixed trend because while some tokens are having sell-offs others have shown positive momentum in major cryptocurrencies.

Moreover Bitcoin price along with other significant altcoins has turned green on an hourly time frame making the chart look bullish as well. Within one hour Fartcoin has appreciated by five per cent showing short term bullish tendency for crypto market today.
