Solana Price Prediction: Solana (SOL) eyes $130 on track for 150ms Alpenglow## Solana Price Remains Above $120 After Breaking Out
Solana price was able to stay above the $120 level after breaking above the threshold for the first time since January. SOL gained roughly 8% over the past week, furthering its rebound from the roughly $75 it hit in early August. The latest move follows several unsuccessful attempts at clearing $120 earlier in the week, making Friday’s move an important breakout for the token.
Meanwhile, top cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP are consolidating mildly. In the wider market, Solana’s holding above $120 has brought the next potential resistance zone near $130 into focus.
Although it has bounced back recently, SOL is still down a bit YTD and still some 58% below its January 2025 peak near $294.# Alpenglow starts devnet testing for upgrade
Solana’s Alpenglow upgrade has entered devnet testing, marking another step in its planned network enhancements. The upgrade was successfully transitioned onto testnet on September 24, with the transition announced by Anza on September 25.
During the transition, the network created its Alpenglow genesis block and retired the previous TowerBFT consensus system. The upgrade is intended to drastically cut transaction finality from about 12.8 seconds to around 150 milliseconds.
Such targeted improvement could have practical implications for applications on Solana. Faster finality could help cryptocurrency exchanges credit deposits faster, and payment applications could be able to confirm transactions faster.
Alpenglow is not yet on mainnet, however. The proposed 150-millisecond finality target is not yet an everyday mainnet feature, as developers are expected to test applications and integrations during the observation period.# SOL Price Technical Analysis Suggests $130

The recovery continued as SOL hit $121.19 on September 26. The token has been trading in an ascending channel on the four-hour chart, which indicates a series of higher price moves in the recent push.
Technical indicators also showed positive momentum. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) was at 63.09, indicating continued buying momentum but still under the more typical overbought level. Meanwhile, the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) was 0.09, with a mean of 0.20. The CMF is a useful indicator of money flow over a given price change.
The immediate technical area to watch is between $123 and $125 where recent highs and the upper boundary of the ascending channel create a potential resistance zone. If the move above this area continues, the $130 level could come into focus.
$121.19 to $130 is about 7.3% upside. The downside is that $120 is becoming an important support level near term and a break below it could turn attention to the next marked support around $115.Record Daily Inflows for U.S. Solana ETFs
Institutional demand has also played a large role in the latest Solana market story. U.S. spot Solana ETFs saw net inflows of $86.67 million on Sept. 25, the biggest single-day inflow on record.

Grayscale’s GSOL saw $18.47 million in inflows, while Bitwise’s BSOL hit $55.73 million in daily inflows. Morgan Stanley’s MSOL generated $5.96 million in inflows, while Fidelity and VanEck products also saw inflows.
Weekly inflows were $181 million, the second highest weekly total. SoSoValue had cumulative inflows of $1.61 billion and total net assets of $1.96 billion. The funds traded $202 million worth of assets.# Solana Price Prediction
Positive developments for the SOL market have included Solana’s move above $120, positive technical momentum, record daily ETF inflows and progress on the Alpenglow upgrade. The immediate price levels are $123-125 on the upside and then the $130 area while $120 and $115 are key levels on the downside. But Alpenglow’s goal of getting finality down from 12.8 seconds to 150 milliseconds is yet to be tested successfully and activated on the mainnet.
