Aster DEX Roadmap Details: Layer-1 Launch and Feature Rollouts Through Early 2026 (450 Words)
Developing a New Aster DEX Roadmap and preliminary analytics Aster DEX, in a phased approach, will develop New DEX in 4 parts. Each with a designated waiting period- this will ensure complete and quality integration.
Slice 1 will begin with the anticipated launch of Aster Chain the first ever, in early 2025 followed by a large volume of additional features and improvements planned for the first two quarters of 2026. The developments will leverage the improvements in the series of separate pillars, dubbed as Infrastructure, Token Utility, Ecosystem and Community Focus.
The first Set of features planned for deployment includes the Shield Mode, which will provide hyper-privacy in a Trailing Stop Loss, a fully automated execution designed for TWAP. Strategy orders will use large block passages to limit volatility, designed to provide greater leverage for the trade without the user incurring additional cost.
After the improvements for this Pivot/ Upgrade are completed, Focus will switch to the Progressive deployment of a Aster DEX Advanced trading functionality and complete the integration of Shield Mode: After- which the Ward Leia to anticipated full capacity with Automation and Multi-Values.
Layered Block will mitigate. Complete order slippage eliminating all potential trading from the user for attackers and other hexed. In the zenith phase the post execution layer will be a fully integrated launch.
In the zenith phase a complete fully wrapped advanced hyper-privacy sustained to minimize Hexed. To culminate a fully Advanced Shield will be automated, with an integrated hyper-severalized and expanded value Trailing Stop.
The zenith phase will unlock further integrations. Bypassing the Kap will ensure greater functionality and automated trading within the system, with the further potential layered with a complete integrated fully deployed system.

Aster aims to have enhancements to the RWA (Real-World Asset) market stock perpetuals to be completed by the middle of December of 2025. The team is working on including more listed assets in an effort to increase the market depth, range of available assets, and overall quality of trading.
The roadmap outlines that adjustments in the user interface and user experience will be ongoing, with the UI/UX optimization being one of the many adjustments that are to be done continually, and would not have an ending milestone for the adjusted experience.
The company aims to have Aster Chain be one of the strongest points in the 2026 roadmap, as the company intends to have the Aster Chain testnet to be launched on the 31st of December, 2025.
This will enable usage of the testnet by the Aster community as the company works on the first layer-1 mainnet, scheduled to be launched in the first quarter of 2026. The completing of the layer-1 mainnet will change Aster from having just a standalone DEX to having an entire blockchain ecosystem.
The first quarter of 2026 will also bring changes to improve developer experience and accessibility. The company is set to release Aster Code for integration into the Aster Chain, and for more ease of use when creating new projects on the chain. Aster is also going to enable new users to access cryptocurrency and seamlessly exit from it, by using third party fiat on- and off- ramps. This will also improve accessibility.
According to the roadmap, Q2 2026 is an important year for improvements regarding tokens and their utility. Aster Staking will provide APY rewards to holders of the ASTER token, and the introduction of on-chain governance will grant members of the community their first formal votes.
This period also includes the first instance of Aster Smart Money, which will allow users to copy trades or follow certain strategies of other traders, although their specific policies for eligibility and control remain to be seen.
